Situated in the Seattle suburbs, this project transforms two combined 50’ x 55’ parcels into a curated residential compound. The design features a new 350-square-foot garden pavilion, strategically placed in the rear western corner to maximize a shared, flexible landscape between it and the existing eastern main house. Conceived as a refined copper-clad volume resting on a robust fieldstone plinth, the pavilion acts as a serene, private retreat for guests and family. Inside an open-plan layout—featuring an exposed timber ceiling, teak windows and a study loft - creates a warm and intimate atmosphere. A bold cantilever of the living space over the stone base makes the structure appear to float, enhancing the connection between the interior and the evolving garden landscape.
